I'm trying to get my holiday schedule together. My wife and I are coming from Australia in late August through to early September. I've got most of it sorted out but had a couple of questions about Knotts and Magic Mountain.
We've been to both before, but way back in May 1998. It looks like lots have changed. I have two options with these parks. I can either do them at the beginning of our trip or at the end. At the beginning I belive they are both open from 10AM to 10PM, date would be around 12th to 15th of August. At the end I beileve it drops to 10AM to 6PM, around the first week of September.
I'm even considering skipping Six Flags because of some VERY bad reviews given on this site. Should I still go given this will probably be my last chance for MANY years?
Would I be better going in August or September?
Will 10AM to 6PM be long enough to see everything in one day? or will I need those extra 4 hours even though the parks may be busier?
Are there any rides that are likely to be closed during those time for refurbishment? Especially the new ones since May 1998
