I made these last year for gifts and they went over so well, I am making some more. I use 2 yrs for adult ones. I want to make my niece one who is pregnant for the baby when she takes him out in the car seat or just to place on the floor or ground for him to lay on. What size is good. 2 yards is way too big for a baby but I am not sure how much.

DD loves doing these as well I think she did a 3ft by 4 ft one for a baby last year

I would say 1 yd of each fleece.. That makes a nice size for a child.

I received one as a gift at my baby shower in October. I love it! My friends pointed out that the sewed the edging prior to tying the knots so that the baby wouldn't jet caught in the "pocket". Just a thought as I had never considered it before on the ones that I have.

I was thinking one yard as well. I will have my Mom sew the edges - I hadnt even thought about that. Thanks

Can someone point me in the direction of a pic and some directions please?

Thanks :teeth:
