we have one day on easter sunday to take three children ages 7,5 and 2 to do something really fun and memorable. some of the family wants knotsberry farm due to the shorter lines and partly for the larger rides. we were leaning towards disney as we haven't been and it feels like there is more for the kids not ready for the huge rides. what are your thoughts?

We did Knott's last October with kids similar to your age and some that were older. My 7 YO could not ride lots of the bigger rides and he was extremely disappointed as was my sisters 3 YO. I'd check the Knott's site for height restrictions and then go from there. There are rides for the shorter kids but in our group of 12 the younger two felt left out. The older kids in our group loved Knotts as did the adults. We loved both parks but I had wished that I had taken the two younger kids to disney for an extra day where they would have had a better time. Hope this helps a little, either way you'll have a great day!

Look at Knotts website and go through all the rides to see what would appeal to your younger kids and if their height allows them to ride.

Knotts has a lot of big rides (Coasters etc.) not suitable for small kids. They do have a good kids area with smaller rides and some shows. Lines are shorter than Disney but can still get somewhat long.

At Disney there is more to see and do for kids but lines in Fantasyland can be some of the longest in the parks. I really would look at Knotts website and go from there.
