My parents and grandparents live near Knoebels and said the flooding around there was horrible (third worst storm to hit the area on record maybe?). I worked at Knoebels during college and still have friends that work there. The pictures just broke my heart. I wish I was closer to the park so I could help clean up. I'm glad they'll be able to reopen part of the park soon, since many of the large corporations in that area have their company picnics the first couple of weeks in July. There are other pictures of flooding in nearby towns on www.wnep.com if anyone is interested.
Oh no!! My family is having a big picnic at Knoebel's next Sunday (july 9th). Do you guys think most rides will be up and running by then or should we postpone? I wish I lived closer so I could help with the clean up.

The site says that the kiddie rides took the hardest hit. I'm sure if you keep checking the site, they'll keep it updated as they make progress. You could probably email them or call and find out how much will be open by next week.
