Any of you have weird pictures like this one. My nephew full of excitement ran to hug Mickey and accidentally knocked him down.

The picture is in my signature also.

By the way, the cast member is saying and I quote: " Guys you have to go"

thats awsome, was mickey pissed? usually its a girl in there, so i bet she was. :rotfl: :lmao:

I don't have a picture like that, but I do have a picture of Mickey on one knee with his arms stretch out for a hug......
while my two year old runs right past him to get to Pluto. I wonder if anyone has ever dissed Mickey before.:lmao:

That's too funny!!:rotfl: Did you actually get a regular picture with Mickey? I'ld be so dissappointed if they told me to go and we had to wait in line all over again!

Aw! :flower3: Poor mickey! Your nephew must have really been excited...either he had a huge running start, or he must be strong!

Oh no, Poor Mickey!!
Geez was that CM really angry when he told you to go? I'm sure it was an innocent mistake....

My son did it at Disneyland. We went in to ToonTown for Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness. DS was dressed in his pirate gear, and saw Mickey. Went running pellmell for Mickey, arms outstretched, yelling "Mickey!" Then he saw the trolley and it was over. Went veering off to the left and ran for the trolley (which is totally stationary). Poor Mickey.

But it was enough of a cute moment that it got him noticed, and we got to be the family of the day for ToonTown (means very little in reality). :goodvibes

I must be missing something here but I don't think this is funny at all

Poor Mickey - his arms are laying flat like the wind got knocked out of him & then you're taking a picture?! No wonder the CM asked you to leave.

Which is too bad because I'm sure your nephew didn't mean to hurt Mickey - I hope the rest of his trip went better

That is too funny. It doesn't look like Mickey is hurt to me. It looks like he is fooling around, lol.

I certainly see the humour in it. I think that your nephew must have just been so overjoyed to see Mickey!

I'm sure neither Mickey nor the character attendant were angry if it was an accident, but a tumble like that isn't too much fun in costume. It is the character attendants job to keep an eye on the characters safety, so the CM was probably just doing his job, not trying to be mean.

That being said, as long as Mickey didn't sustain too serious of a bump, at least you got a very memorable picture out of it! ;)

I'm slightly disturbed that people find this funny. I completely understand that it was unintentional and watching a child be so excited is fun. However, taking a tumble in Mickey's "outfit" can likely cause injury, his head is very heavy.

Since it is clear no one was hurt, I think it is okay to laugh. It is a cute story and I don't think anyone means anything vicious by it.

He was Upset for sure. It was totally unintentional, I can see why he was upset, sowe left.

We did not get a regular picture with Mickey, since we were asked to leave,we left. We really did not want to get thrown out of the park specially since the kid had tripped goofy a couple of days before at MGM during the parade. I have a picture of that episode as well. I assure you it was not a conspiracy. But we were really careful from then on with characters.

To the person who was not happing with me about taking the picture, let me just clarify I started towards Mickey to help him, but the cast member waved me off so I took the picture.
