Knives?

This can be moved if need be.

Are you able to bring a knife of any form with you? We want to bring apples but I am unable to eat them without being cut because of my fake tooth.

Carry a small pocket knife in your pocket (not in the bag with the apples,) and you'll be OK.

The offical word from TSA is no knives of any kind. You can try to do the above, but if you are caught they will confiscate it.

I recommed checking it in your luggage and then you won't have that worry.

I think the OP is referring to carrying a small knife into the Disney parks, not on an airplane.

I would leave the knife in the room. There are apple corer/slicers that are available. It's the circumference of a normal apple with eight slicers and a round hole in the middle to core the apple. It has small handles on each side. You put the corer/slicer over the apple and push down. The result is a cored apple in eight slices. It's definitely non-lethal. You can get these in any Wal Mart or stores like that. And you will find if extremely handy around the house as well. No more knives to slice your apples. Excellent for making apple pies.

Nope I was referring to bringing it on the plane.[Silly question to ask in this section but I post here the most.] but I didn't evening think about a slicer. We actually used to have one that cored and sliced at the same time!

you can put it in your luggage, but not your carryone stuff..least that is my understanding

Unlikely to get it on the plane, however you can now again get plastic knives at the food vendors inside airports, so if a plastic knife will do the job...you are good to go.

Live without the apple for the time you are in the park. It isn't worth the hassle of guessing whether you can bring a knife or can't. I belive Hollywood studios even sells apples presliced.

I believe most of the counter service and some of the food carts sell the presliced apples. Counter service offers them as part of the kid meals if I remember correctly.

Just slice the apple in the room before you leave for the day and put it into a ziplock bag. Or, Publix sells awesome small bags of apple slices.:)

A knife in the parks is a no-no.

We've gotten the pre-sliced apples and they are quite good. The first time we got them was at MK in Liberty Square somewhere -- one of the vendors that sells juices, bottled water, fruit, etc. They really are good and nice and crisp and cold. :-)

Once again, the OP is talking about bringing a knive on a plane, not into a WDW park. The answer is most definitely NO!
