I have been looking online to get some good feedback on knives and I can't find anything really useful. So, I figured I would try here. Here is my dilema. I have seen a Cutco presentation before and thought those were a great set but very expensive. Now I just hosted a Pampered Chef show and they have Forged Cutlery. These knives remind me of the Cutco knives, but I don't know if they are in the same category or not. Pricewise I think they are, but I could be wrong.
Does anyone out there have experience with either Cutco or Pampered Chef Forged Cutlery to give me some ideas?
Thanks a bunch!

). I inherited my grandmother's spoon set with the potato masher, when she passed away back in 1996. And believe it or not, I use the potato masher every now and then before using the beaters to make mashed. The beaters make the mashed very lumpy and I don't like lumps
Sure, it's pricey, but it actually does what it says it'll do. I like the fact that I can slice tomatoes and not have them end up smushed or all raggedy looking, you know?
Just went to Cutco's web site. Looks like they still make that old masher. I didn't think they did since I haven't seen it in the catalog my aunt has.
