Knee issues

Has anyone ever gotten DAS because of stairs? Due to a knee problem I can't climb stairs or anything at a steep incline. This only applies to 3 rides, Splash Mountain, BTMR and TSM. In the past I'd receive GAC. Not trying to bypass line. Will use FP+ or wait for the time to come back, I just can't do stairs. Space Mountain has stairs but only a few. I actualy got in through the FP line, DD got in stand by. There a spot there is a opening between the 2. I moved over. It's has an incline but being in line move a couple feet at a time it's not terrible.
Any info is appreciated

For TSMM, I think you would just be sent through the regular queue until the staircase when they would switch you over to the non stair loading area. So no DAS required for this ride.
Splash I can't help with as I never ride it and I have no idea what they would do for BTMR.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with real DAS experience.

I also can't do stairs due to bad knees. I've never got a GAC or DAS, just told the CM at the entrance to TSMM and they have you avoid the stairs .

A DAS is not required to avoid stairs. If you are walking, simply inform the CM at the appropriate attractions. At many, you will still enter the regular queue (either FP or standby) and then be re-directed at a point along the way. Very few will have an entirely alternate entrance.

Need to avoid stairs is considered a mobility issue and DAS is not issued for mobility related concerns. If walking the parks might be challenging, it is suggested you rent a wheelchair or ECV or other mobility aid. If simply to skip the stairs (my mom doesn't "do" stairs), you only need to make that known at the attraction.
