Kmart toys and additional 50 off

The best is that I used the $50 Sears gift card I bought recently at CVS when they were giving back $10 in CVS bucks!

I got lots of the Little Pony things...like a PP, a few of the Pinkie Pie/DVD sets, other Pony sets (NOT ponyville...the other type), all $5 or under.

Also got:
8.50 make your own robot from Discovery Kids
6.50 Vtech sorting blender (SO cute for the person looking for the baby gifts!)
.99 Transformers Rubik's Cube
.99 several cartridges for vtech baby
11.00 Disney Monopoly (reg 29.99)
6.50 a great Twister game with a Hopscotch twist

It's all in my car hiding from the kids, so I can't remember everything...but it was definitely good advice to just keep scanning stuff...almost none of this was marked properly.

Happy Shopping!

Thanks to the OP for starting this! I ran over to Kmart this evening. Our endcaps with the clearance didn't have much but some was good stuff!

Full size Woody doll that talks when you pull the string for $17
Full size RC Car from TS3--$17
Big remote controlled truck--$11
Princess Tiana doll that talks--$10
Disney Monopoly--$5
Barbie Fairy Butterfly thing--$7

Thank you very much as we do lots of shopping for Toys for Tots and this is a great start. I'm planning to go back at the end of the week to see if it goes down further and see what else I find. I may also try to find another store and see what is there!

Exactly!!! :thumbsup2

My DH just stopped by on his way to run an errand and he called me on his cell as he was looking. I kept telling him to go to the normal toy section because last year so many regular toys (non clearance) were coming up 50-75 percent off. I only knew what to get and scan because so many great posters posted exactly what they found.

My DH found the Toy Story Potato Head in the regular section and sure enough it rang up $3.50 instead of $10.00! :cool1: thanks for mentioning this and everyone post what you're getting.

My DH offered to stop by on his way home again and go through the regular section so can anyone tell me if there are any good baby toy deals? I'm going to be a first time aunt in a few mos and it's a girl so I'd love to put away some things for her. :lovestruc

Thanks and I'll post if we get some deals!

The V-Tech toy I mentioned, the pink jewelry box, was 6m+... my 2nd niece is due around Thanksgiving. :goodvibes

It's called "Jungle Fun Music Box"

The blocks are 6m (best friend's boy is due in September, lol) are "Count and Build Snail Pail" it's a plastic case with a snail on top and blocks inside. My son has a few of the blocks inside, not the whole set, but he plays with them a lot. I almost bought him a set of the blocks, too.:rotfl:

I went to KMart yesterday and got some really nice stuff. I'm also being more selective with what I bought; the My Little Pony sets are for gifts, and I've been stalking the Swan Palace for weeks. The Legos set was a lucky find; it's pretty big for the price.

Legos Duplos Thomas the Train - $20 (usually $53)
FP Swan Palace - $18 (usually $48)
FP Swan Palace figurines - $2.50
FP Swan Palace transportation - $4.50
My Little Pony - Pinkie Pie w/ DVD - $4.50
My Little Pony - Ponyville set of 3 - $1.75
Strawberry Shortcake doll - $3

Worth a look if you're near one and need gifts/early XMas presents.

I want the swan palace too, but can;t find it. I got the pony place and flower place online ($6.50 each, a few figurines at teh store and the carriage, but can't find the dang palace.
If anyone finds one and is willing to ship it to me, I would gladly pay you (via paypal if you want.

It looks like a nice toy & at least you got the extra places--$6.50 is great for them. I think our DDs are about the same age; mine is 5 and I know she'll love it. Anyway, on Thurs. before the sale started, there were 3 Swan Palaces at my store. I went Sunday night and got the last one. If anyone is near, I saw quite a few (5+) at the Honesdale, PA KMart a few weeks ago. I go up there a lot during the summer.

I'd ship you one...my Kmart had about 10 last night. Send me a PM with your email address and we can set it up. It is going to be a heavy box though...something to keep in mind...it's a BIG toy! Happy to help!

I went yesterday and no light sabers which I really wanted; however, I got the R2D2 for $11, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse racer set for $9.50; Batman and helicopter for $5.50; Batmobile for $7.50 and a fireman mickey for $2. I'm going to check out the other Kmart tonight.

Stopped at a 4th and final (according to my wallet) KMart today. Here's what I got:

FP Swan palace balloon, carriage, boat: $4.50 each
FP Swan palace woodland palace playset: $6.50
FP swan palace flower palace playset: $6.50
FP swan palace figurines -$2.50 per set
DK robotronix - $7.50
FP splatster ply n play - $18.50

I'm having a really hard time coming up with ideas for my two lovely grand daughters. I would really appreciate any ideas ? Thanks

How old are your granddaughters? They had some cute crafty/bedazzled type kits where you can add bling to shirts and stuff and then kits to make sock monkeys or frog banks...all with gems and such or to mix up your own perfume(those were between3.50 and 5.50)..lots of barbie stuff, mine still had a barbie with horse and tub (i got that last time a month or two ago i think it was 8.00 bucks)...a lot of the tinkerbell the lost treasure stuff was on sale...ummm thats all the girl stuff i can think of i really made out with boy stuff this time

oh for the ones that picked up the mickey racer set (i got that last time too) the extra cars that you can buy to go with it (which retail for almost 10 bucks for two racers...ugh) were marked at 4.00 at my store so I was able to get both sets for 2.00 each.

my son is totally into batman this year (we had season passes to six flags this summer) and all the batman play sets were marked down

disney scene it 2nd edition was marked 24.00

i'll hafta find my receipt so i can post the other stuff...i spent 150 or so so theres a lot more :P

Thanks for the reply. My grand daughters are 7 & 9 and are really into sock monkeys; I hope my K-mart has those kits too. I think the bedazzle kits would be a big hit, as well. I'm going to go over to my store today and hopefully they still have a large selection. Christmas is just around the corner, ya know.

We stopped.........I didnt find too much I needed......LOL and the wallet thanked me. I did buy the Disney Monopoly for my DD14. She is just like her mom and is obsessed with Disney. She doesnt get it til Christmas.

It was 11.00

I went to a 2nd Kmart today...they were much better organized and had about 5 huge piles of clearance toys as you walked in the store (plus more throughout the reg. toy section). I got:

The huge barbie horse & carriage (I want to say $8.50?) That is usually over $30, so it's a nice gift to have on hand for bday parties!
Littlest Pet Shop Adoption Center (HUGE set!) 9.50 this is a beautiful set!!!
Toy Story Potato Head 3.50 (thx for the heads up on this one...)
Hot Wheels Huge Remote control Toyota $9.50
More Swan Palace accessories
Transformers 5.50

I am just about done with Christmas!

Mine didn't have many things I wanted, but I did get a Barbie set with a horse for $14, the three small My Little Ponies for $1.75 and the Pinky Pie Little Pony and DVD set. I was really hoping to score a Lego set, but I didn't even see any clearance signs on the lego shelves. There are two more stores in my area,so I might try one of those. I'm embarrassed to say I still have stuff in my attic from the kMart clearance last summer, so I'm being more selective this year! :thumbsup2

Pixie Hollow game $3.50
MLP cuties $4.50 (these are sets)
minicon transformers 10pk of transforming cars $9.50

Just got back..thanks for the heads up that it was 50% now..last time I went it was 30% and that's not good enough:)
The Tinkerbell stuff was on sale? darn..mine weren't marked and there wasn't a price check machine anywhere around (is there ever?) Maybe I'll go back.
I got: Trio Hammerpull, was 14.99 got it for 5.50, lil Bratz Fashion Runaway Purse 14.99 down to 5.50 (we don't do Bratz, but my niece let's her daughter, so there you go)Talking ABC Apple, 15.00 down to 5.50, Precious Places carriage, 11.99 down to 4.50Precious Places Swan, 11.99 down to 4.50, Precious Places Willow 6.99 down to 2.50, Precious Places Masquerade Ball and Prince 6.99 to 2.50, 2 of the Little Pony 3 packs (tiny) 4.99 to 1.75, Spy Gear Flip Blaster, 10.99 to 4.00 and My Little Pony Newborn Cuties Scootaloos Party, 11.99 to 4.50. Not a bad haul for about 42.00.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to post prices and pictures because it really helped! :thumbsup2. My Dh made a run last night for me and I look an early lunch break today and had a great time. :cool1: I would say about 95percent of the items I got were in the normal toy section and not the clearance section. Strangely none of the transformers were on sale in our area and I had hoped they would be.

Did anyone find or see the spongebob play do set that was around $13 marked down to $2?

Thanks again:flower3:
Heather

**Warning**

Anyone who bought the VTech Sort and Spin blender (I know I saw on here where someone else bought it, too) my son was playing with it today and got the orange/round piece lodged behind his front teeth. He flipped out. I managed to get it out fairly quickly but it really could have been bad.

I read reviews for the toy on Target and SEVERAL people have had this problem and a few even reported their kids actually choking on the pieces, having to cut their mouths or do the heimlich to remove the pieces.

So I just took all the pieces and threw them away! He can still play with the Blender part, but don't let your child have the pieces!!
