Not one of my favorite stores, but I do miss their sales. Ours went out last time they closed a bunch. Sorry for the people who will be out of work. Hope they find something soon!

So sorry Linny about you losing your Kmart job! I hope people realize Walmart will soon have what they want...a discount store monopoly. I try to give Kmart business, but agree they need to improve their merchandise.

I was happy that the K-Mart down the road from us isn't closing, our next door neighbor works there. It would be sad to see her lose her job. So sorry for everyone that will be affected by this.

They are closing one that is right around the corner from my house. We are all bummed because it is a very nice store. There is a Walmart that has been built across the street, and I'm sure thats what did it in. Walmart is always such a madhouse, that we try to avoid it at all costs. But now we will have to go there. I live very close to an I95 exit, who do you think will take over the Kmart building?The shopping center it is in is very nice, and less then 10 years old.

I'm shocked that our Kmart isn't on that list. The shelves are often empty, and they are frequently very slow. Also, their manager is somewhat of a jerk.

I am sorry for all the people losing their jobs. I really do think that eventually Wal-mart will stand alone as the discount retailer.

The one I used to work at in Valdosta, Ga. is on the list. I still have some friends who work there...

I love our K-mart, shop there at least once per week. The one in our town is still open. Will they all close eventually, is this just prolonging the agony??

They are closing our K Mart here. It was a pretty new store too, built about 5 years ago.

any day! None of the ones near me are closing, so I will continue to shop there.
