Just for any of you folks out there. I got a Petco Water Fountain, and I have to say, he LOVES it. I'm watching him drink from it now. He foregoes all other water dishes in favor of the fountain now. Added bonus, it filters the minerals out of our hard water. :thumbsup2

So, if your kitty has kidney disease and needs more water intake, give it a shot. That and add 2-3 tsp water to his WET food. Get rid of the dry (unless he LOVES it).

It was only about $15.

Our cat drinks from the toilet, she loves it, we keep it clean just for her. :lmao:

My cats refused to drink from these water fountains. One tried to attack it. Another would just stare and look at it for an hour or two. None of them would drink from it. :confused3

I'm glad, however, it is working for your kitty!

He used to drink from the toilet, until he fell in one day, lol. He is now simply a toilet bowl watcher, he likes to watch it flush.

He didn't like it at first, I didn't have enough water in it. Now it actuallly fountains up and out and doesnt' make as much noise.

Ah, the things we do for our kitties, I'm considerin' gettin' a bike 'n givin' the cat my car so she doesn't have to walk. ;)

I have fresh water in several places in the house for them, yet they prefer to drink water that has pooled up outside (rain water, melted snow) :confused3.
