Kitties favorite places to nap

My kitty is right now sleeping in between a blanket on the windowsill, but his favorite spot is on your lap if you're sitting in the recliner.

Where do your kitties like to snooze?

My babies love to snooze in our living room window (a small bay) with the sun shining in on them. At night, they both feel the need to lay across my legs so I can't move at all. I am so stiff in the morning b/c I don't have the heart to kick them off of me.

My boys like:
*The giant cat tree their grampy built for them...but only the top
*Our bed
*The back of the couch
*The couch
*The living room rug
*The small cat bed balanced precariously on top of a file cabinet

My Longaberger baskets! And any box they can find. And sometimes I find Ren in my walk in closet, hidden among the towels and sheets!

But at night, Cinder sleeps with our DD (she carries him to her room and he's a prisoner till the morning, with the door closed). Ren sleeps at my DH's feet in our bed.

Cali likes to sleep on a shelf in the basement behind a small Christmas tree, she looks like a Christmas gift Santa left.

Simba like to sleep on our, I mean his bed.

My Tinkerbell likes to sleep on the window sill of our bay window. She loves stretching out sleeping in the sun. She also sleeps on my 2 older boys top bunk.

-on top of the dirty clothes in the basement
-in a closet
-in the hamper if it's empty
-under the coffee table
-under my bed, but usually only if he's been scared by the vacuum cleaner or if it's really hot. (He hates air-conditioning and it stays pretty warm under the bed.)


Grinningghost, whenever I see your cat, I just want to reach through the computer and rub his/her stomach!

On top of the closed hottub!

And I have the scars from the first, last and only time she leaped without looking. It is amazing how much damag one small cat can do to your legs when she lands in the hottub!

During the day, it appears to be on our bed. We have a Select Comfort bed, and DH likes his side really soft. There's always a cat-sized dent on his side when we get home.

Tigger's favorite spots are by DH's feet when he's at the computer (there's a computer up against the wall by his feet. Tigger snuggles up to it and keeps DH's feet warm) and on his chair..er, the reclining chair, in the living room (on the top or on the seat). The chair is always one of his favorite toys - he uses as a launching pad when he's hyper. He has another chair in our computer room, one that is at a desk that DH and I don't use very often. He always gets upset when one of us want to use the chair.

Angel usually favors the floor right next to the entertainment center. She gets as close to it as she possibly can.

Both are big fans of the couches in the living room.

Cordelia and Doyle seem to love my bed and for some reason windows.but when Angel is on tv they are in front of it

Cocoa loves our bed - but only on DH's side. It's weird cause she definately is mom's (me ) cat and the family teases me about it, but she sleeps cuddled next to DH. She also likes the arcadia door (especially if it is open) in the dining room. She gets sun and fresh air (thru the screen door) that way. She doesn't sit on our laps She is siamese and somewhat of a primadonna. Oh well, we still love her.

In the back of the linen closet! I've shut them in there by accident a few times!

Also- on the floor heating vents in the winter.

I just got my DD a bed for her Josafina American Girl doll, so our cat , 'el Duque (aka devil boy) has taken to sleeping on it- it's the perfect size for him
