Can someone tell me if the kitchens in the 1BR units at BWV have pots and pans along with the dishes and glasses? We are going home for the first time in 2 weeks and want to take advantage of the kitchen for Breakfasts and lunches.

Is there anything else we should plan to bring along or buy?

Thanks

Yes they do!
BWV is our home resort and they have pretty much a full kitchen.
We buy groceries for breakfast and even an occasional lunch (although we never seem to eat the lunch) and find it most comfortable.
I hope you will as well.

They supply a can opener, not sure about the corkscrew but Im sure Mousekeeping could provide one.....they brought me a blender :) You'll need to bring salt & pepper, and I highly recommend bring squares of aluminum foil and ziploc bags. They supply a couple of tupperware squares though. I also brought my own coffee and filters (love that dunkin donuts blend) Aside from the mudslides, btw, I use the blender to scramble up a bunch of eggs...comes out nice and fluffy! Dont forget butter or cooking spray to avoid sticking. :bounce: :jester: :Pinkbounc mae

p.s. I brought a jar of laundry detergent, and boy did it come in handy!

maepartner, I love the idea of using the blender for mixing scrambled eggs! I will have to try that!
A corkscrew is not provided in the villas. We have a small corkscrew that we keep with our vacation stuff and just bring our own. They also sell them at the Screen Door.

I also bring fabric softener - and bath oil, candles and matches (don't forget the matches), bubble bath (use half of what you would generally use at home).

Florida does not charge a tax on grocery items - so I can generally buy the other stuff I need cheaper there than at home.

There was a cork screw last trip but never seen one before. Zip locks bags are a big plus.

I like to take some garlic powder. Salt & pepper is a must.

We take a water filter pitcher and refil H2O bottles.

Powdered lemonaid is good.
