I'm planning on taking my family to Beaches and Cream one night for dessert. We will have 4 adults and 2 teenagers with us. Do you think we should take the challenge of the Kitchen Sink or let everyone individually order what they want? I think we'd be able to eat quite a bit of the Kitchen Sink with 6 people and I've always wanted to try it! Plus it might be more fun. But it also might be nice to let everyone get what they want such as sundaes, floats, etc. What would you do?? If you've had the Kitchen Sink before, would you get it again? Is it worth it?

I have 5...2 adults and 3 growing/eating boys! We are going for the Kitchen Sink. Ever since it was mentioned on the Travel Channel my boys have wanted to try it.
I don't think a $24.00 sundae (or whatever the $) is worth the expense but very much worth the challenge of trying to eat it all. I think my boys will lick the sink clean.
It will be fun no matter what!:p

I think it will be a gross, melting, gloppy, sharing germs mess but yep we saw it on the Travel Channel too and will be ordering one.

We were going to try the Kitchen Sink in December, but we were meeting several friends at BeachesnCream and were eating outside, and they won't let you take the Kitchen Sink out, you have to eat it inside the restaurant. We got regular sundaes instead, and let me tell you, those were huge too!! We got 2 to split between the four of us (2 adults and 2 growing boys) and we couldn't finish them.

Splitting the kitchen sink will be cheaper than ordering everyone something different, but everything they have on the menu is excellent! I myself love the No Way Jose Sundae....lots of chocolate and peanut butter sauce:cool: DH loves their strawberry shortcake.
They do bring individual bowls out with the kitchen sink, so you can scoop out what you want from it..... 4 of us just rotatated the whole thing every few minutes so we all got a chance at some of the toppings:D

Ditto on the No way Jose!!!:) We tried the kitchen sink once but the novelty wore off. IMHO it has too much stuff on it and it is very hard to taste the ice cream.
