I don’t either. All flours, sugars, and teas are in cabinets in their original packaging. I have about 10 canisters stacked and aligned single file in the space between my refrigerator and countertop fish tank, so they only take up about a 5 inch width of counter space that would be unusable otherwise. I use them to store items I buy in semi-bulk quantities like popcorn and grits, as well as the “superfood” type items that I try to add to my cooking as often as possible and therefore want to keep within arm’s reach — flax seeds, hemp hearts, chia seeds, nutritional yeast, etc. When we move, I expect our new house will have much better kitchen storage and the canisters will be able to be stored away then.Am I the only one who doesn't put flour, sugar into different containers? I put them in the pantry in the package they came in.
