Kitchen aide ?

Best buys down the street gonna check it out and Sam to. I really want it. I already have a list Brownies, Oatmeal cookies Sugar cookies Butter cream frosting Cupcakes Now with a 6 qt if I make small batches will is be over mixed or no problem? I live brownies but I hate mixing it

I see there's also a nice cream bowl you can buy for the kitchen aide. I've read some negative reviews that the bowl has leaked some blue fluid. If you have the ice cream maker is the ice cream and sorbet good ?

We have the 6 qt pro on also.built like a tank.many add ons. Check out bed bath beyond, with the 20% coupon the price should be pretty competative

Kitchenaid usually isn't eligible for the 20% discount--it's excluded in the tiny print. I bought my red Pro 600 from Macys during a sale. It was on sale, had an extra discount, I used a gift card I had and they were giving a free attachment (I picked the ice cream maker). It has the lift bowl. So far I've made a cake, whipped cream, egg whites and have been pretty impressed. I do struggle a bit with attaching/anchoring the bowl properly--but I'm getting better;)

I'm hoping for the pasta attachment for Christmas:goodvibes

I broke down and bought the one at Costco. The bowl curves out a little for easy adding ingredients . When I went to best buy I got to see the difference between regular bowl and straight bowl . I also got to see the plastic poring attachment for straight bowl and I don't need anymore clutter lol!

Now I just need to figure out the settings . So if I make cake or brownies is the low #1 setting just like a low #1 on a hand held mixture?
What setting for
-butter cream frosting
-royal icing
-mash potatoes
-shredded chicken

I guess I'll learn as I go. Probably if I make bread or pizza dough those setting are more important to know since it can make a difference in dough .

I'm hoping to use it tonight
