Kiss Goodnight?

What is it? Who does it? How do I hear it?

Never seen it myself, but from what I have read it happens as the park closes. Mickey and Minnie are on top of the train station and waving goodnight.

I am sure others will respond who have seen it and can be more helpful.

Acccording to the second link

Kiss goodnight:

Sun - 3:30, 4:00 and 4:30 AM
M - 10:30, 11 and 11:30 pm
T&W 9:30. 10. 10:30 pm
Thurs 12, 12:30 and 1 am

Probably changes depending on park hours

okay i know i might just be stupid but I watched the video and dont understand what im looking for? I didn't see anything but the castle? anyone care to help me figure this out

The first time I saw it was on the video. Is it shown most nights? Next Thursday (5/4), I plan to be in the park until closing. Then how long after that can I expect the Kiss Goodnite?

Does anybody know when this movie was made? Because when we went in February, we stayed a while after Wishes (not sure of the exact time), and we heard a simular recording, but I think it was a female's voice. It said basically the same thing, and had the characters at the end. Did they change the recording recently, or was what we heard something else?

Or did I just dream our experience..that might've happened.

Don't know about the voice thing but in February we were at the Poly. As we walked to our room we glanced over at the castle and stopped dead. It was changing colors and getting brighter and more colorful and then it all dimmed down. It really was rather pretty. I had read about the Kiss Goodnight -- and was just soooo happy to see it -- we truly had a magical trip and saw so many things that were mentioned here on the DIS boards -- the talking trashcan in Tomorrowland (MK), Madam DeVine in AK, and the KISS GOODNIGHT -- wasn't I just so lucky!

BTW! when i was watching the video i had goosebumps and almost teared up!!!

Is the "Kiss" Goodnight just the voice saying "Thanks for coming......." and the castle changing colors? If not, then I'm really confused!

Let's see if I can clear this up.

People call the castle changing colors at night, the kiss goodnight, but the Goodnight Kiss is officially when it changes color AND you hear the music, the voice saying thank you and goodnight, and the characters talking too like in the video.

The castle changes colors for a good part of the night (I've stayed at the Contemporary several times and we love watching the colors) even without the cute goodbye with voices and music.

I hope this helps a little bit.

I actually thought it was when the characters all wave and blow kisses, as the MK is closing - We've seen this a few times & always love it. Now I have to find everyone that I told that to, and make an ammendment. Yikes.... I'll call the thing we saw - "The Wave Goodnight"

Can't wait to see the real one!!

Thanks Beattyfamily for the video of the Kiss Goodnight!

We were in Disney two years ago and saw the Kiss after we had been to E-night at MK. What a great way to end the day..it was truly spectacular and watching the video brought tears to my eyes again!

We'll be there this June and hope to see it again. Thanks for letting me relive a great memory!

This was one of my favorite memories from my family's 2004 trip. It was our last night and it was just a great end to a great vacation. The video just gave me the warm fuzzies all over again.

I'm hoping to see it again this year.
