Kiosk line process for offsite

I have a friend heading down soon for a race and they plan to spend the day in Epcot after the half marathon. She only wants to ride Soarin' but her granddaughter would like both TT and Soarin'. Her granddaughter is 16 so riding TT alone single rider is no problem but I still suggested she did this first while my.friend gets FP+ for Soarin'. They are off site so no prebooking available. Question...is my friend allowed to take both their cards to the kiosk line while her granddaughter is riding TT or do both of them need to be present?
