We've decided to take the kids to King's Island for a weekend and I need advice/info on hotels and where to buy tickets. My Mom said her Blockbuster Video has King's Island tickets for $25.99, and I believe they are about $40 at the gate... so would this be the best deal? Also, what hotels are nice/new/clean and close to the park?

We're also thinking of doing Newport Aquarium while we're there... any info/advice on that??

Thanks so much!!!

You mean you're going somewhere else but Disney?? :p No way Erika!! :teeth:

Just teasing :)

I was at PKI about 2 years ago for about 6 hours. I managed to do about 7 coasters. I thought the best ride there was the backwards Racer. The line for it dropped consderably as the day went on. This in my opinion, but I think the Beast is overrated. It just goes fast for a long time. There wasn't much variation or even any airtime. If you have an ACE membership, you can get in for 1/2 price. If you're not ACE, your Blockbuster discount sounds like the best deal out there.

As for hotels, I think there is one across the street.

The weekends are very crowded. They have great children's rides. I haven't stayed in any of the motels so I don't know about them. King's Island's inn is right up the street from it. I know they have an indoor and outdoor pool. That sounds like a good deal.
