How is it? Probably going for the first time in many years this summer. I don’t go to theme parks other than Disney, since I’m bigger and not sure about fitting on rides. Especially the newer ones. I know the older ones with just a lap bar or shoulder hardness I’m ok. It’s the newer ones that connect a shoulder harness with a seatbelt from between your legs.

Any tips or experiences from anyone bigger that’s been? I know I’ve read cedar point has a couple coasters that have rows for bigger people, but can’t find any info like that for kings dominion.

Dominator has rows with longer belts in I think row 4 and 5. Look for the seats with 2 seatbelts.

You might have trouble with Flight of Fear, Twisted Timbers and Anaconda. Anaconda has added seatbelts to the over the shoulder restraints. Twisted Timbers has a test seat outside the entrance you can try before getting in line. Some other coasters have them as well.

For a regular amusement park I find it fun but not one of the best parks I have been to. Besides the coasters, I like Boo Blasters the interactive dark ride and the log flume.

Also if you don't like really intense rides, skip Intimidator 305. It is the most forceful and intense coaster I have ever ridden. I grayed out on the turn after the first drop which has never happened to be on any coaster I have tried. Others have blacked out.

I'm at Kings Dominion right now with the family. Tomorrow will be our second day. It's worth it to get season passes if you are visiting for two or more days.

Anyway, this is my first time back in more than 20 years. Probably 40 years for DH. First visit for the kids.

We're not really intense roller coaster people, mostly family rides and milder wooden or non upside down rides.

We aren't terribly large either, but I noticed Reptilian might work well for big people.

DH and I bought 2022 season passes back in October. We went for Halloween, In early December for the holiday theme, and two days right before Memorial Day.

The passes were cheap, about $80. We plan to go at least twice more this summer, plus October and December.

Intimidator is too intense for me. Mystic Timbers is great. And I love how they re-themed the bobsled ride into Reptilian. I do believe there are seats for larger individuals.
