Hi,

after looking at the timetables to get to st pancras it says we have to change at Kings cross and its another 15 min journey to St Pancras...

Would it not be quicker walking??? only because the eurostar leaves at 6.55.

The train gets to kings cross at 6.30, but if we were to change to st pancras it gets there at 6.46, which leaves 9 minutes to find and get the Eurostar!!!

It's like hardly any walk at all. :)

Want me to make a google earth walking route map?

wow thanks for the quick reply and yes please that would really put my mind at rest and stop me stressing for 2 more months lol

No problem!!

Theres actually an indoor/underground walkway between the two.

Very well signed.

oh as close as that LOL!!! shouldnt take more than 10 mins, if the kids keep up LOL!!...

Definately going to walk it then to make sure we get on the 6.55 :)

Thanks so much :goodvibes

Yeah, it took us about 10 mins to walk there. Not far at all. Having said that though, isn't time a bit tight from when your train arrives to when Eurostar departs? I thought you had to be there half an hour before to check-in anyway. I know it's probably just me but personally, I'd like to get there at least an hour before, to allow for train delays etc. If not, I'd start breaking out in cold sweat lol.

I agree!

Leaving it so close is WAY too late. There's no room for error. We had to check in 45 mins before, and I strongly suspect that check in will be closed at that time - there just wouldn't be enough time to go through passport and security checks in around 10 minutes!

Do you already have your tickets?

When we went on Eurostar we were seated on the train 20 minutes before it set off and the doors on our carriage were closed 10 minutes before. Just something to look out for!

thanks, I didnt even consider the passport and security checks !!!!

Good job I am planning this far in advance and have you all to help me !!!! :surfweb:

The train before that gets to kings cross at 5.55, so after perhapsa 10 min walk to St Pancras, then that should leave us 50 mins !!1 Yes a much better option !!!

Thanks guys :worship:

Thanks Alice, well you probably would have seen me still stood at Eurostar station trying to get on another train otherwise, looks like you are going the day after me :lmao:
