Kingdom Hospital - a disappointment

Did anyone else think that "Kingdom Hospital" was a bit, shall we say, stupid? I can't believe I wasted 2 hours on this show. It definitely looked better in the promos.

Two hours??? Did I turn it off too soon? I was also hoping for something different. I love Stephen King, well, at least the 'old' Stephen King. I just didn't get it. Way to 'out there' for me. I don't mind bizarre but that was just plain weird!!! Back to West Wing.

It was out there alright, but more than that, I thought it was downright boring. I kept waiting for it to "pick up", and it just didn't. It was a snoozer.

I really enjoy Stephen King but that show was awful. I only watched the first 10 minutes and then I had enough. It seems that every time TV gets it's hands on his material, they make a mess of it. Besides, for some reason starting next week, Star Trek is being moved to 9 p.m. so I would have been watching that anyway.

So true Roberta. I'm thinking "Tommyknockers". If I had a gun, I would have shot out the TV while watching that one.

Yes, TV usually does make a mess of King, but didn't he specifically write this for TV? He had control over it all to the best of my knowledge.
