Where can I buy stuff Kingdom Hearts stuff from WDW? My BF loves the video game and would like to buy models and stuff related to the game. Anyplace at WDW?

Though I don't remember 100%, I don't recall seeing any Kingdom Hearts merchandise in Magic Kingdom or Epcot in the last two years. I would have thought the Mitsukoshi store in Epcot's Japan pavilion would have it. That's filled with a lot of anime and video game stuff, one would think they'd have stuff from a video game that Disney was a part of! Again, I can't 100% remember, but I don't think I did see anything related to it. If there had been any keychains or figurines, I would have definitely bought them!

But I don't think I've seen it. That would be the first place I'd look though. Maybe now that the sequel, Kingdom Hearts 2, is out, Japan might have some stuff. Or perhaps Downtown Disney. I haven't been in DD for a while so its possible they have it.

I know a few websites that do sell KH merchandise but I'm not sure if im allowed to advertise them here. Feel free to PM though.

I honestly don't remember seeing any Kingdom Hearts merchandise, however, I am going in 4 days and if I see any down there in any of the parks or stores, or if I am able to inquire, I will do so and advise what I found, if anything.

I hope so!!! I would buy this for my daughter. She has played KH1 more times that she can count, and beat KH2 within 3 days of getting it. Of course she got it the day it came out.......she was counting down the days like I do to go to WDW! It was really mean too.....they pushed back the release date by a day.....we go to Best Buy, DD is practically running to the video game section, only to find out she has to return the next day! I mean really, how much difference did a day make?

wow, i'm not the only one woundering about this! Well, Thanks for the suggestion of the store in ecopt's japan. I'll have to check it out. I guess we'll just have to keep our eyes open. I dont want to crush my 25 yo bf's hopes and dreams! LOL

My DD loves this game too. She's trying to get me to play it. But I haven't tried it yet, though I've watched her playing alot. I'm terrible at these games and she loves to laugh at me when I mess up Anyway, I bet she'll be watching for some stuff while we're there in June.

I was told that they don't have merchandising rights to this game. They do have the game for sale, but no merchandise.

Now I can't remember who does have the rights, but it's not Disney.

They also don't have the characters normally. For a very specific event, they have gotten one-time type rights according to the person who answered my question earlier.

Ohhhhh, ok, now i totally understand. Kingdom Hearts was made by, the videogame company, Square Enix and THEY must have the merchandising rights. I thought maybe Disney shared them but I guess they don't.

Kinda strange Square didn't give them the rights or shared rights. As big as Square Enix is in Japan, Disney is that much bigger in the US. So it would have helped everyone if Disney was able to sell KH merchandise in their theme parks and across the country.

Oh well, i guess it now makes sense why we don't see KH merchandise in Disneyworld! I'd still like to see the characters walking around. I heard Sora was there sometimes but i haven't seen him yet. Oh well.

What a bummer! I wondered about that on our last trip in December, as the release date for KH2 approaced. I've seen merch on random sites online, but you would think a joint licensing deal would make sense!

My sisters and I love the games, and they keep talking about how they hoped to see Sora, Riku and Kairi when we go back in August. I'm glad I told them not to give their hopes up! Of course, I wanted to "meet" them too! For the few times the characters have been out, would that be for MNSSHP? Were Donald and Goofy out and dressed in their KH gear? I'm going to have to tell my professors that it can't be helped, I must head to WDW in the midst of mid-terms to meet the Keyblade Master!
