Just back from an amazing week long solo trip! :cool1:

Just wanted to let you all know my experience with Kingdom Camera Rentals in case anyone else was considering renting equipment.

I have my own DSLR but was looking to rent a nice lens since I like to spend a lot of extra time on photography during my solo trips. Only about a week before my trip I stumbled across Kingdom Camera Rentals from the Disney Photography Blog (actually...I never even thought about renting equipment until I saw their ad). Not knowing exactly what I was looking for, I just emailed them what lenses I had and what I wanted to achieve.

You can rent entire camera set ups including the camera body, lens, battery, memory cards, etc. or just the pieces you want. They have both Nikon and Canon products (but only Canon flashes :sad1:) They got back to me VERY quickly and gave me a nice list of a few different options. I had very specific pick-up and drop off time requests due to my crazy commando touring plans which they were able to accomodate precisely! They were perfectly on time for both pick up and delivery, and even send you a text message when they get there so you dont have to wait around in the lobby for them. The lens itself was like brand new and worked perfect. The price per day for a whole week came out to only about $10 a day for a $1000 lens.

I definitely give them 5 out of 5 stars and will definitely be renting through them again. Their prices are amazing and their customer service is what every company should strive for. (And no, their not friends/family/etc, I am just really impressed with them!!:thumbsup2 )

Excellent. I've also just recently heard about the local lens rental places and am eager to give them a shot, so your review is very timely. It's reassuring to hear that this seems like a well-run organization.

How did your shooting go?

I used Kingdom Camera Rentals as well just 2 weeks ago and had a very similar experience. I will definitely use them again next time we are in the area. I also rented a couple $1000 lenses for less than $75 for the long weekend (4days). Such a great option and since there is no shipping charges involved it is a much better value than the competition! Outstanding customer service! I agree 5 out of 5 stars! ( and no I have no relationship with them either, lol just a very satisfied customer!)

Wow I love your pictures!! Were they all taken with the Nikon 18-300? Please post the other tow on our Facebook page when you get a chance. They are stunning! Makes me want to get to the parks this weekend with that lens.:cool1:
