We're leaving for Disney 2 weeks from today - I can't wait. We're staying at ASMu and CSR. When I called to make our room requests, I was told I can't have a king size bed and two cribs. I was told that it was probably because there isn't enough room. The problem is my dh is too long for a double bed and I have 6 month old twins that are going with us. Is it really too cramped in the rooms for two cribs?

Can you have two double beds and two cribs? I am sure that two double beds take up more room that one king bed. Or is it that they won't let you have two cribs at all? Surely they have some solution for twins who need to be in cribs.

I think the reason they won't give you the king bedded room is I believe the room capacity of that room is 2 adults and 1 child under 3, unfornuately you have 2. I'd have to agree that either one will be a tight fit with two cribs, I stayed at ASMo last year and it's a tight fit with just one. I wish you luck and I'm sure you'll find a way to fit everything!!!! Just remember if you're not bringing your own, they don't provided cribs, they provide pack'n plays.

My DH is too long for a double bed, too. (He's 6'6".) In the past what we've done is get two double beds and had him sleep on one diagonally with a small child in the corner. Now that the kids are getting bigger that won't work. I'm not sure what we'll do in the future. (We don't have to worry about it this trip; he's staying home and Grandma is coming.)

It is not too crowded for 2 cribs. The rooms with the king beds are the same size as the rooms with the 2 doubles, so there should be plenty of space for the 2 cribs. And I wouldn't see why the room capacity would only be 2 and one child in a crib since the room is plenty big. I would try and see if a manager would let you get the room you want. Or you could bring a portable crib for one baby and have one brought in for the other.

How about co-sleeping with the twins. You could put them in the middle of both of you. This is what we do when we go on vacation, actually we do it eveynight. It works great, especially if you are nursing. Good luck. Hope it works out whatever way you want.
