I was reading in the paper today about a woman who was flying with twins and gave out lollies and ear plugs to other passengers to apologise in advance, I was thinking it may have been you!
Glad to hear you arrived safely and I hope the romance survives the separation!![]()

Nah not me, would you believe four sets of non-child travelling adults complimented us on the kids as they were so good? Oli was only a pain in the backside to me. Other than Oli trying to get set settled and whisper grumbling in my ear, nobody heard a peep out of them until we landed and were the plane was going to the gate and Alex said in a loud voice 'so wheres Disneyland?' and every other kid in earshot piped up asking their parents the same thing.
The kids slept 14 hours overnight and we had to wake them up. Alex has NEVER in his life slept anything like that. If we were not up and down half the night and a bit tired we'd be jumping for joy.
Time to pack up and push off to Carlsbad. End of the free WiFi I guess...
cunning plan in progress

Been in Carlsbad two nights. We are at the Grand Pacific Palisades and I love it, got a quiet third floor room so there's no kids thundering around overhead. It was a long drive down here as we took a significant Tiki Tour around San Pedro looking for the cruise terminal and finding everything expect the cruise terminal. My thinner son had a sore rump by the time we got to Carlsbad as the concrete roads really jarred him around. Poor little guy was almost crying about how sore he was.
We went to LegoLand today, got there for gate open and left 15 minutes before close. No wait time on any ride apart from the first and that wait was 3 minutes. I'm worried what one of my kids will be like at Disneyland as the three minutes wait was something he couldn't get his head around, he seemed to think he should go straight to the front of the line as he wanted to use the ride and everyone else was blocking his passage towards his destination. I think we'll be sticking to the small rides at Disneyland, we tried the big water splash thing and the kids couldn't get out fast enough as they were scared. They didn't much like the spinning ones either. Oh well, we enjoyed waving to Daddy on the coasters as he shot past.
My other Disney parcel arrive. I should have listened to Karen, I ordered way too big (think needing a 14 and getting a 22).![]()

Long day, feral kids at the end but we did CarsLand, Bugs World / Land, the Disney Jnr Show and Soaring Over California. Ate at Flo's and forgot food pics (sorry we just scoff). We got VIPed into the Disney Jnr Show as I was chatting with a CM at opening this morning and she recalled us and that it was our first visit for the kids birthdays, so she opened the red rope and made us stand right at the front door and ushered us in and put us in the best spot for the shows. She also gave us First Visit buttons, We're Celebrating ones for the parents, Honorary Citizens for the kids and Birthday ones for the kids. We collected a further three Cars style buttons each by answering Cars movie questions. The kiddos clanked around under six buttons hanging off their shirts. Did a Character Meet with Lightening McQueen where we thought one of our kids was going to faint. Saw the other characters from Cars. Did a Character Meet with Jake and Pluto. Saw Minnie and Goofy. One kids scared to go near the Characters unless it's Cars related. The kids are in bed and I've sent DH back to Disneyland by himself to do his thing while I do some work for the Disney cruise.
