Does anyone know which buildings at POFQ have King Beds available? Is it possible to have a king bed and a water view? Are the rooms the same size as the rooms with 2 beds or are they smaller. Thanks in Advance!

I think all of the buildings have king bed rooms. King bed rooms are corner rooms, meaning you get an extra window. I think they're the same size as the regular rooms, and, yes, you can get a water view with a king bed room. We got one when we were there last month. By the way, we really enjoyed our stay there!

I don't think that you can be guarenteed a water view with a king bed. You can request it, but you may not get it. All of the king bed rooms cost the same amount, water view or not, so they aren't classified differently in the reservation system.

Although the rooms are the same size, they feel so much bigger with just the one bed. There's lots of room on both sides of the bed for suitcases and things. We love those rooms because we aren't the kind of people who unpack things from our bags and use the closets and drawers.

Hi. I have a king bed room reservation.
Do you have a room suggestion?
Would also like to have a water view if possible.
thanks

We were in building 5, room 5126, and we loved it. I would request building 5, water view.

Hey guys, I'm new here, but I've been reading boards for awhile. How close is building 5 to the bus stop? main lobby?pool?
Thanks

Hi slothman, and welcome to The Dis. This map should help-

We had a river-view room on the back side of Bldg 7 on our most recent stay at POFQ over New Years. It was very nice, and very quiet.
In addition to the standard Disney bus transportation, both POR & POFQ offer boat transportation to the Downtown Disney area.
The only thing the resort is missing is a sit-down restaurant, but 'Boatwrights' at POR is a short walk away.

Are the rooms at POFQ with King beds a handicap room? I know they are at the All Stars because they put us in them twice and I asked to be moved. We'll be down there the end of March and a room with a King bed would be great.

I'm sure that they have some that are but I think if you specifically reserve the king bed room, you should not get one. We did not.

We had a king bed with a water view, and it was wonderful. We were in bldg. 5, room 5323. It was a nice and quiet room. Enjoy your stay!
