I have a nook... and really like it. I can offer no comparison though since it is my first and only e-reader.

I am able to highlight a word(s) and then a little magnifier pops up and when I click on it, it brings up a huge list of posts on that subject! It is *really* cool! But I am not sure if this is a new Dis feature, or my firefox browser.

I know it's not exactly the same thing but my DH uses his ipad to download and read books and it's absolutely fabulous. Personally i prefer the smell and feel of a good book in my hands but if someone is considering an ipad or already has one, the book application is another option worth considering instead of a whole new device.

I think you'll really enjoy it!! I ordered the K3 as well because it's the perfect size to carry in my purse and the Kindle DX I use for reading at home was really too large.

I am supposed to receive my lighted cover today - I waited to see what my options were going to be but I think I will give the Amazon cover a try. I am usually a customer (and fan of!) the M Edge leather covers - I think they make a great product.

I have that case with the integrated light MsDisney and it is absolutely wonderful.

I was a little sad not to be able to order a brand new Oberon cover for my Kindle 3 because they are so beautiful. But no way am I giving up my light now. Those clip on versions don't even compare.

I have the case with the integrated light as well. It works really well except I wish it was on the other side because it can shine in my husband's eyes while he is sleeping. hehe.
