Kindle Paperwhite Deal

Looking for a deal on Kindle papewhite... purchased regular Kindle for Christmas gift and would like to replace it with the paperwhite. There is more difference in the two than I expected...

I have yet to see a deal on Amazon except one that was VERY limited. The only discount I've found is buying at either Office Depot or Staples with one of their coupons, though you may have to wait around for a good one that doesn't exclude e-readers.

When and where did you buy the Kindle you don't want? Amazon has a 30 day return policy on electronics including Kindles. You may be able to return the one you bought and get the Paperwhite.

Go back to the store and do an exchange. That is going to be the best way to do it. I have not seen to many deals on the paperwhites.

I received a $40 off any kindle sometime in November. It was sent to my email from Amazon. Something about being a loyal customer. It took the paperwhite down to about 80.00. That is the only time I heard of a sale of sorts on the kindle from Amazon.

Contact Amazon directly -- their chat function on the website works well. My Kindle Fire was having charging problems, and although it was past the warranty, they offered to replace it, but also offered me huge discounts on a newer one. Contact them and explain the situation and see if they will work with you. If that doesn't work, eBay.

If you are an AARP member you can get 10% off all Kindles including the Paperwhite. Google Kindle deals and it'll link you to the AARP site. You have to enter your member # for it to work. I was able to get 2 using my dad's membership.
