If anyone is thinking of bringing back from the US into Canada those cute little chocolate eggs with the little toys. I mean I know the obvious things you can't bring if one flew, BUT I never knew there were issues with crossing the border by car.

what does everyone think of this? Is this really for everyone's safety? OR is has this matter been taken a little too far??

Reread the title of the article,

You can't bring them "INTO" the US.

I read that earlier this week and could'nt stop laughing as if the US does'nt sell small toys that are that size ????

Sorry you are correct. I was reading one place said this Canadian lady was back into Canada and had the eggs seized. Canada won't be far behind..lol

It has been like that for a long time (taking them IN to the US). Every country has their own set of wackadoodle rules the US just happens to have that one.

It's been like that for a long time. I remember 15 years ago always making sure I had some for my niece when she'd come up from Houston, because they weren't sold in the States.

The U.S. deems them a choking hazard. There's a law on the books down there that says toys can not be concealed in food.
