So my husband came home from work last night and told me that he doesn't think we will make our deadline for the trip being paid off. We had expected a lot of things to go different financially this year with his job and they have yet to happen. So we have decided to push it back until Oct.I'm kinda of bummed i really enjoy going in Sept because of the crowd levels we rarely have to wait to get on a ride, but a lot of family friends have told me that Oct is really not that bad. So now I just have to decide what weeks to go. We are thinking about going Oct 13-24 but are not sure yet. I wish we could stay for Halloween but my sons birthday it the next day and his father and I usually take him out together and then he takes him for the night. Any advice would be great?!

Halloween would be my first choice, but anytime is Oct is great. We go every year around the first week and again sometime right after the 18th (our anniversary). The food & wine festival is happening, the weather is great, the crowds are low, what more could you want. It is much better than the higher chance of hurricanes & the heat of September. I think you have a blessing in diguise!!

Im so sorry.... I don't know when u were going to come, but October is a great month to come to Florida..... It is so hot and muggy through September and hurricane season will have died down...... (although its not over till Nov).....

Hope that makes feel a little better.....

October is good. Usually a little cooler than September, but you can still swim. We will be there the first week of October.

If crowds are a concern, there maybe a crowd Clombus day weekend. Just something to think about. Holloween is so nice at the Fort a real neat experience. The weather is nicer in October then September! Come join us for Holloween!;)

Most of the times before this year that we've been have been October. (My birthday is October 27th.) I LOVE going in October. It used to be less crowded than it is now, but it is still not that bad. And the weather is usually awesome. If you're going that close to his birthday, you may want to get him a birthday button, at least on the last day. :)
