Hi everyone,
I have a confusing situation. I have booked a res for fri 10/19-10/26 with a % off code for AKL Lodge Pook View (couldn't swing Savanna). We have the MYW package w/ park hopper, Disney Dining and Magic express. But, I really want to come in Saturday 10/18. This date is not available with the % discount.
Soooo,
I can add the 10/18 at rack rate as a seperate reservation. So here's my convuluted question.
Since my full package wouldn't start till the 10/19 I am guessing I could not use park tickets, or dining until the 19th when I check in.
BUT, can I check out of my 10/18 reservation in the am on 10/19 and check in under the new one so I can start making use of park tickets and dining? Can I do this earlier than 3pm (like 9 or 10? - even if I must wait for my room to be available till later -- any chance I might be able to stay in same room, just check in and check out).
And, most importantly -- can I use magic express on 10/18 even though I assume my voucher will say 10/19 as the free magical express will be on my full res, not my one day res.

You can certainly check in before 3PM, as early in the morning (after 6AM I think) as you like. More than likely, your new room won't be ready, but bell services will hold your bags so you can go off to the parks. Staying in the same room depends, but I would certainly ask. They wil give you your park tickets, just not activate the room key until the room is ready... I think if you call DE and explain to them about arriving a day early, they'll help you out.
