Having only rented at DVC once....many, many years ago....and understanding that things are not now as they were then......

We are borrowing points from a friend. Want to use them NOT at her home....which means we have a 7 mos window (as she says).

Is there a chance of booking 3 studios at CCV or BRV for Presidents' week at that late date?

I have looked into many, many variations of this vacation thing here and elsewhere and am closing in on the end of my reservation planning....

Almost zero. President's Day is the 18th, and Princess Half weekend starts the 21st.

Units have to be booked one at a time, and when we look at the availability tool we cannot see how many units are open. CCV has a very small number of studios to start with. Because it is a holiday, and the week includes a run event, doing 3 studios sequentially as a booking is unlikely to prove successful. That's typically a week/period we tell people to book home resort and see what's available at 7 months, and wanting multiple units complicates matters considerably.

You will probably have better luck if you book try for a 2 bedroom and a studio. Suggest your friend book the studio first.

a 2 BR during that period is almost the point equivalent of renting 3 studios...paying for one more studio, in effect. I would LOVE to do a 2 BR but it seems unlikely we are shelling out that amount of $$$.

I know aurora referred to CCV specifically, but we are open to BRV as well...either/or or both (of course we'd love to be close together)...

Would our odds of accommodations increase at Boardwalk do you think?

Last: who in the heck decided to add the Princess Half on top of a peak period?! Kinda like making free beer night at the mall on Christmas eve, no?

I think 3 studios anywhere but OKW, SSR or AKV are unlikely. bWV will be harder than CCV or BRV.

Three BRV studios are unlikely.

February is not peak for DVC, but the Princess Half drives DVC demand.

The Wine & Dine half marathon is run during the next to last weekend of Food & Wine, and it's Jersey Week to boot plus Disney often runs their *free* dining promotion thru that time period. If it attracts visitors, Disney will promote it.

In the case you're citing, the Princess Half in the weekend of 2/23-2/24. President's weekend is the weekend prior to it. No overlap. Just two consecutive high-demand weekends.

The Princess Half is during DVC's lower demand season. For parts of lower demand season I would say you might be able to do 3 studios at 7 months. Not President's weekend, not Princess weekend.

Points required doesn't correlate with demand for DVC for seasons.
