I figured this would be the best place to ask since a lot of you guys have your own carts.

Do most of you that have your own carts take them where ever you go camping? Do most places allow them? I was just curious what others experiences have been. I know that the State Park we go to doesn't but some of the other places we camp do.
Thanks.

We have our own golf cart that we take with us when we go to Fort Wilderness. We just changed the color of it from red to bright yellow. I can't wait to take it in December when we go.

We travel the country every year and have not seen any golf cart use other than at the Fort. I have seen people discuss them (in forums) for use at other "destination" camp grounds. I'm saving for mine, just for home and the Fort.

We are heading down to Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach next week. We have to bring a "proof of liability" insurance policy for at least $50,000. We also have to register it with them when we get there. I called Pirateland and Myrtle Beach TravelPark and neither of them allows personal carts.

I thought they all used to allow them but I imagine they've had so many accident issues (mostly with kids cutting up), they stopped it. :confused3

I bet that yellow looks cool. I can't wait to go next month either. I didn't think it would ever get here now it is right around the corner. :thumbsup2

Thanks. We will use ours for the Fort and for our weekend campground. I guess a campground would state on their website or information if they allow them or not. I would like to get the most use I can out of our golf cart.

That seems a little ridiculous to me. Of course there is a small group (or maybe not so small lol) that has to ruin it for everyone. If people would just use some common sense.
