So we have reservations for Nov 2 -12 at the fort and for those of you who have read my previous posts know that I was sick for awhile and am just now getting back on my feet. Well today we kinda came in to a little bit of money and we are now deciding if we should go for the free dinning offer from sep 24- oct 4 and stay at pop. I have really been looking forward to camp at the fort, I will admit there are times where I am a spoiled brat and part of me is just being so inpatient . So I don't know if we should just wait until Nov. I really would love to see the Christmas party since we have never seen it and it was supposed to be a surprise trip for our son for his birthday, but my husband also thinks that with the dinning offer it takes a little stress off of me. What do you guys think?

We are going back Dec. this year, the Christmas season seems to be more magical to us. There may be another free dining offer into Nov. you never know.
You would have to stay at the cabins to get it though..

There's no place like Disney at Christmas!!! :santa:

And I'd rather stay at the Fort and cook than at any hotel with free dining, but that's just me. :goodvibes

Sept-Oct is still pretty hot, another Nov vote here.

I totally agree with nov, I guess part of it is me being anxious to go and the other part is the free dinning we really love that.... I hate decisions like this... lol

Both trips would be OK also. :thumbsup2

Thats kind of a shame. We travel to the Wilderness Campgrounds frequently every year, and have Annual Pass's, and would love to have access to the special dining plans too.

I'd wait for November. We stayed at Fort Wilderness Nov. of last year and loved all the campers decorated for Christmas. It becomes a park in itself for the holidays. November vote here :santa:

We've stayed from mid Oct till Feb and the weather and decorations are all there during that period.

I hear you! We stay TG week & the week after (Disney put up their decs from TG onwards) but we buy the dining plan. Never seen the dining plan for campers :(
