Kinda bummed I cant upgrade my room

I have the 5 for 2 package for the CR tower room. I have one room only night at the beginning of the package that I got using the discount codes for a Tower Club room. I was trying to decide if whether I should keep my existing tower room or upgrade to a tower club room for the rest of my stay (pay for the upgrade of course) but unfortunately they have nothing available for my dates. At first when they didn't have anything I thought "oh well I'll just keep trying and maybe I will get one" but I have pretty much called everyday and they still don't have anything available. I am going in October so they must be pretty booked at the CR.
Sorry to complain just needed to vent my disappointments.

We're kind of in the same boat. We are spending the first three nights of our December trip at AKL. We got a great AP rate on a savannah view room. A few weeks ago we decided we wanted to try and upgrade to the concierge level. Nothing was available on the concierge floor - with or without a discount! We've been trying every day, but no luck so far. We still have a few months, so maybe something will open up.

I'd try around 5 days out. I believe you have to pay or cancel with a room only at that mark. Plus, ask when you check in.

Don't forget to check the website for the Fall Savings Promo. I found three days on WDW's website that I was unable to get through CRO. It's code BAS, and a couple CM's at CRO/WDTC fold me they couldn't see that code on their systems since it was the website code.
