Kind of dumb ADR question

I'm just curious how far ahead everyone calls Disney dining to confirm their ADR's? We're leaving in 17 days (:cool1: ), and I'm curious if this is too soon to do it, or if it's good because it will give me a chance to (maybe) fix any mistakes that there might be.

Just wondering what other DISers do....

TIA!

This DISer makes her ADR's about 180 + 10 days out. I tweek them here and there, but for the ones I really want, I make them right away.

I strongly suggest that if you have your heart set on a certain place, you should call Disney dining now, if not sooner. :goodvibes

I think my post was confusing. I already made my ADR's - back about 5 months ago :)

I'm just wondering when I should call to CONFIRM them, to make sure everything is correct and on the right dates/times, etc.

Thanks!

From what I read, the original poster already has ADRs and just wants to know when or if she should confirm them.

I would suggest you go ahead and call now because, if nothing else, it'll set your mind to ease and that'll be one less thing to worry about.

By the way, I have never had any of my ADRs messed up. Thank goodness!

we're leaving this friday, and i called yesterday to confirm our ADRs

I apologize, I missed the most important word "CONFIRM" sorry OP, have a great trip. :goodvibes

I agree. Go ahead and call and then you will know everything is ok and if not you won't be trying to get it fixed at the last minute. :)

We have been lucky also and never had a problem with ADRs but I have seen a few unhappy people arguing with CMs because their ADRs were not correct. We always make sure that we have our ADR confirmation numbers for the day with us just case there is any problem.

I have stayed at Disney dozens of times and have never called back to confirm my ADR's unless I forgot to make note of the time or date. I have never had a problem. I do agree with other posters though, if it will set your mind at ease to call and confirm then I would definetly do so now, why wait.

I too have never called back to confirm ADRs.

I just make sure I have them all printed out on paper with confirmation code, date, place, and time included. I have yet to have a problem. A family traveling with is did mixed up thier days and ended up losing an ADR due to an I-D-TEN-T Error.
