Sunday's gonna be good, though. I can sense it.![]()
Ok...Not so much.
Things just didn't go my way today, unfortunately. YES, I could have gotten up at 6am to run, like I do on weekdays, but I really thought I could to a nice, cool evening run tonight. Yesterday we helped move for about 9 hours.
My back was aching like crazy when I went to sleep, but felt fine when I got up this morning. I'm having a problem with my right arm, but I'll get back to that (that wouldn't have stopped me from running). DH wanted to get into work early today so he didn't have to stay all day. So when I forfeited the early early run this morning, it set me back to tonight. And what hit me around noon? Freakin TOM.
And my enemy TOM brought along his normal slew of symptoms with a new one....nausea.
So that run just isn't happening. Yes, I have my head hung low. I shoulda/coulda/woulda. I'll be drugging myself up and getting out there in the am. That's for darn sure.OK, so my arm. (warning - might be a little gross) Here's a freak story for ya. I had bloodwork done on Wed (for the ablation procedure I'm planning). I believe I was the phlebotomists' first ever patient because she just looked scared to death. She wiggled the freakin needle when she was changing vials and she made sure every one (of the 4) were filled all the way up before switching. Anyway, it's now almost a week later & my whole bicep muscle is sore to the touch and I have a 2 inch dark purple bruise line going up my arm from the spot where she put the needle.
I called my friend who used to be a phlebotomist and she suggests I call my dr. tomorrow because she could have caused an infection or it might be as simple as she just went through the vein and caused the blood to leak under my skin. Guess I'll call tomorrow. One last thing. DH, DD, DS and I are heading out on Wednesday to Hershey Park.
We're SO excited! We'll be staying over for 2 nights and coming home Friday night. I'll definitely be posting some pics for you guys when I get back.
Kim,
I think it's a good idea to have your arm looked at. You definitely don't want an infection to set in. Sending some
your way,

!!! Pics when you get back
