Kimonos

Well, I have a review of one of my old favorites. Kimonos in the Swan Hotel. I love sushi. The food was just OK. We went in before 9PM and seated ourselves at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs greeted us. No one else did for a while. They seemed to be understaffed. Some folks w. reservations stood in the entrance waiting for someone to acknowledge them. We sat waiting for our drinks when our sushi was served over the bar. Unfortunately for many, a lot of sushi was left waiting on the bar for waitress pickup. Gross. Also, we ate sitting next to some unclean spots since no one cleaned the sushi bar from the previous guests. The manager was trying to help a bit, but should have done more. Someone else brought us drinks and no one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything - the sushi chefs asked how it was. We waited a long time to get the bill. I was pretty disapointed. I was happy for the sushi, but more greatful that the kareoke had not started up yet.
