I don't think that their specialty rolls are their strong point. They have a good variety of fish and their nigiri and sashimi are very good, though. You can see the full menu here.
Thanks for the comments and uploading the menu! It was cool to see exactly what they have, and I agree the nigiri and fresh fish menu seemed impressive, even having conch! Is the ginger dressing for salads good here? I know it's either a huge hit or miss at places!
We just returned from a fantastic trip to WDW. We ate at Kimonos on Monday night and absolutely loved it!!
All of the sushi was very very fresh. It was interesting to see that they had grouper (of course a Florida thing, but we're not used to seeing it on a sushi menu) and big props go out to the Seared Grouper appetizer! Delicious sauce and amazingly fresh grouper.
They recommend their Dragon Roll...we opted to get a spicy tuna roll that ended up being super yummy (and we're not big roll eaters). The Yellowtail and Scallop sashimi was to die for...and the Ahi Tuna appetizer was delish as well! (can you tell we liked this place?)
Hope you have a fantastic experience...and be sure to check restaurant.com for deals...we scored a $25 certificate for $2 a couple weeks ago (that means a round of yellowtail and scallop were free!)
Kimonos asparagus roll, cream cheese and tempura asparagus, is ridiculously good. I also like the rainbow roll, which is basically spicy tuna roll with fish and avocado on the outside.
