Is this a fun thing for childfree adults to do? My husband and I enjoy quest type games.

Is there are charge for the Kimmunicator?

Subscribing to this post - My DD heard about this and really wants to try it so I'd like to find out more please?

We had a lot of fun with it (but we do have 3 kids)...I think that it would be entertaining for adults only though too. And, if you decide that it's not for you, you can finish the mission and drop off your Kimmunicator and continue your day. Each mission only takes about 20 minutes, so it won't hurt you to try it! :thumbsup2 My kids loved it, and I thought the effects and the very cool way Disney incorporated the clues into the WS made it a lot of fun for my DH and me.

There is no cost for the Kimmunicator, but they do ask you to run your park ticket to sign up to the misssion and pick up your Kimmunicator.

We did three total and each one was very cool and lot of fun for my kids (8 and 6). I think it's definitely worth trying! Have fun!

Would this hold the attention of a 5 yr old boy? I want to see WS but trying to find things that will hold his interests.

I totally agree with this. We enjoyed it and found it very cool. The kids loved it. I think we did 3 missions too. I saw things that I wouldn't have seen had we not done it.

This has been a fantastic way for us to see parts of the WS that we never get to see. My two older kids (8 and 6) loved it. We had to help my 6yo, but he loved holding the Kimmunicator and looking for the next clue location (they show you a picture on the Kimmunicator screen, so it just becomes a matching game)....The clues take you into the countries and often into the shops. It was great for all involved! I definitely think it would hold your 5yo's interest - at least for a mission or two!:goodvibes

DH and I plan to have a go at this next month. We love the world showcase so we figured this would maybe help us see more of the details of the countries. Plus it looks quite fun to do!

I did all 7 KP missions in May with my DH and our DD18. We had a great time so its not just for the kids! My suggestion would be to do it as early in the day as possible so there are fewer people doing it and so the "suprises" aren't spoiled. The missions took us to places we'd never botherd to check out on all our many Epcot visits so it was definately worth the time! Have fun!

My kids did this for the first time two weeks ago and loved it.

We did all the "missions" in Germany and they did the "missions" in Japan. The kids would have kept going but we had to leave. It was a lot of fun. Even DH and I got a kick out of it.

My DS12 and I did a few of the missions and thought it was fun. I think I might have enjoyed it more than he did.....he was finished after three missions and I wanted to do more. :rotfl:

Go for it and have fun. I think you'll like it. :)

Thanks everyone!!! We'll definitely checkit out. :thumbsup2

I too would like to try this out sometime. Where do you pick up your Kimmunicator from? Does each country have their own?

Chrysta and I are really into geocaching, so we thought that the Kim Possible mission would be perfect for us. We were right! :thumbsup2 We did all of the missions and enjoyed each one. It's a great adventure for all of us kids...even the older ones. ;)

DH and I (childfree in our early 50s) did one Kim Possible mission a few months ago and thought it was fun! You will notice things around the World Showcase that you never noticed before. That's all I'm gonna say, because I don't want to give away any spoilers. :rolleyes1

It's somewhat time-consuming, so we only did one mission, but I could see us doing another mission the next time we're in World Showcase.:)

My kids are pretty excited about this. From the Planning DVD, they've gathered that it's just like MagiQuest at the Great Wolf Lodge. Can anyone who as done both tell me if they are similar?
