Is the challenge geared towards children only? We're going on an adults-only trip, and just wondered if it's worth doing or not. Thanks!

Definitely. Have done this multiple times with various friends, and all adults only.

We tried it last trip (with a 12yr) and loved it. I think the adults had more fun then the 12yr. I know on our upcoming trip (all adults) that we will be doing it on our second day at Epcot. It's fun!!

The challenge may be a bit simple from an adult perspective, so if it's the challenge you are looking for I would skip it.

With that said however, if you are looking to experience a KP mission to see what it's all about, I'd say definitely do it. Kids and Adults can both have fun on a KP mission.

Ditto! While the commands are simple, I absolutely loved that I got to explore part of World Showcase that I never would have. I learned a thing or 2 along the way as well!

We thought it was fun as well. Just two adults-mom and myself-found the KP missions to be fun. We learned small facts about the countries as well.
The missions can be a bit time consumming so be prepared in that area!
Hope you have a great trip!

Definetely. We did it last year with a 10 y.o. and loved it so much that we will do it adults only on our honeymoon. :)

Agree to both of these! The missions take you all over the country you are assigned to and the missions are pretty simple, plus you really get to interact with your surroundings. DBF and I are in our 20s and his parents are in their 60s and we both got a kick out of completing our respective missions.

How about teenagers? I BF is going in Feb with her teenagers 15 and 13 will they like it or will they think it's lame?:confused3

No fee, it is totally free to all guests.

I have yet to do this with my kids - I always make time for it on my adult only trips.
It is a fun way to hit different countries, grab a drink and explore spots you wouldn't normally take the time to focus on!

We'd like to do a Kim Possible mission on our next trip. Is it best to pick up your Kimmunicator first thing (at rope drop) or after you are done with the attractions in Future World? We always make our way to World Showcase around 11 when it opens.

I guess adults will enjoy it if it's their kind of thing....I personally would not be doing it if not begged by my 7 year old!

Never done the missions with children, always my friends and I (all adults). They're fun and a good way to spend some time seeing the Showcase.

Our family did it this past August and loved it! I think my DH and I had as much fun as the kids. We enjoyed seeing parts of the World Showcase that we normally don't notice.

You have to get a mission pass (like a Fastpass).

You can get these in the INNOVENTION buildings, or at the entrance to World Showcase.

You get your Kimmunicator when you show up for your mission.

This isn't my thread, but thanks for all the info! We saw someone participating in this at the Japan pavilion in October. I thought it looked neat, but my teenage DS's would not be caught dead doing it! I will be there in February on a tight budget, so it's good to hear it's free. The only thing is I will be in the parks solo. Would it be weird to participate without someone with you?
