I had started one of these journals ages ago and can't find it so I thought I would start another one as time ticks closer to my goofy marathon, which will also by my first marathon.
A little background for anyone who wants to read it. I am 43 years old and married to my awesome DH for almost 22 years, however we have been couple for many years before that. We have 2 kids, Kevin 20 and Kaitlyn almost 17.
I have tried unsuccessfully in vain to lose weight but I am just never consistant enough to do that. A few years ago I lost 40 pds mostly by giving up pop and I gained it all back.
I have approx 45 - 50 pds to lose before I do my goofy marathon in January. That is basically 2 pds a week which is totally doable, I just have to do it.
Every monday I want to enter my weight and 3 major measurements and try to keep track also of my food and exercise. Offical goofy training doesn't start until Aug 23, 2009 but am trying to get quite a bit of weight off before that. I am doing a few challanges for push ups and sit ups as well as continuing with my cardio.
The road to Goofy begins today!!!
