Okay, for a long time I've been agonizing over whether I should tell my bean savy Buds about the dismal performance of my pole beans. My first attempt at growing them, and although any Jack would be impressed by the height of the plants, not a bean could be seen.
This morning started out the same as the last couple of weeks, with me gazing at my beanstalks, searching through the impressive foliage for a bean, any bean.....and guess what!!!!!
FINALLY, this morning, just as I was about to turn away in disappointment once again, I spotted it!!! A BEAN!!! Yep, just the one, but what a bean it is! I'm thrilled!!
I don't know whether to steam it, saute it, or have it stuffed and mounted!! For now, I'm carrying it around in my pocket.....my lucky Bean.

It's like that forest and the trees saying....Can't see the beans for the bush!
