No. Nobody is able to touch the whales (except for the trainers)

Friend did this tour on a recent trip as well as the Commerson's dolphin tour at Aquatica. She liked the Commerson's tour much better. It is $40 and includes a photo.

How close do you get to the whales during this ? Is it worth it ?

If you are in the stadium or Underwater Viewing, you get to go up to the glass. If you are in the back area, several feet (plus a mesh barricade)
