Killer Whale Trainers..

Not sure where else to find this out and all of you guys are very clever so you might know!

Does anyone know if the killer whale trainers are back in the water with the whales? In the show and behind the scenes?

I was there last month and the trainers are definitely not in the water. Was speaking to one of the educational team and she said they still need to fit the adjustable flooring in the pools. When this is done then the trainers will start interacting with the whales in the pool,but behind the scenes only.reckons its still a long way off for the shows though.

The OSHA hearing verdict basically said they weren't allowed in the water, so I doubt they'll ever be in the water, durning shows again.

Once all the floors (mentioned above) are in place, they still have to get approval from OSHA to get in the water. OSHA could very easily say no, even after they're installed.

So, there's no guarantee that they will ever be in the water with them. Or, at least that's how I interpreted the outcome of the hearing.
