Killer slide at OKW

Well almost killer.... almost knocked me unconsiosous (ack cant speel) I came flying down the thing and lost my balance, and knocked my head so bad I saw the world dim for a second. This happend at the end of the slide and I didnt have time to get a breath before going under.... I tried to be cool about it, but a lifegaurd saw I was in trouble and she was very concerned.... I almost went under..... Thankfully I didnt need her to jump in the pool, but I could tell she wanted too and I guess for a second or two, she prolly should have jumped in, but I fought it off and made it to the edge when I hung out for a bit. lol

I still have a wicked lump on the back of my head too.

Just kidding. Sorry about your head bang. I wonder if there is something a little different about this slide because I've been on probably a 100 different slides and have never smacked my head like that. Glad you're ok.

At the very bottom of the slide right at the last turn before it dumps you out... it turns the corner and dips a bit, then raises up before the straight away... I fell back during the last turn and when my body hit the dip, then the raise, my head was thrown back and got clunked.

I have used the slide at HHI and it didnt seem as slick nor as fast as this one.... never tried the Vero slide....

My DD 5 loved the slide, but after 4 or 5 times down it, decided it was too rough for her too. LOL

And there was a couple of oldtimers in the pool cursing the slide.

I don't on the whole do slides - never done one - but I was going try this one....
