What is the best time to visit this attraction?
We will be in AK next Monday, and I am trying to reserve a FastPass.... time offered are 5:35, 5:50 and 5:55PM.

Is this OK time to do it? It is not getting dark at that time, is it?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!

It will be a couple of hours before sunset, so you won't have to worry about it getting dark.

I have previously heard it's better to go in the morning because the animals are more active. We we're there last month and did Kilimanjaro Safari FP+ around 10:30 and the Savor the Savanna tour around 5:00 and saw a good deal of animal activity both times. In fact, since it wasn't as hot, we got a better view of the hippos because they were lounging on a rock instead of submerged in the water!

Any of your available times should be just fine! Enjoy the safari; it's probably my favorite thing at Animal Kingdom!

Those times are all so close together, there shouldn't be a difference at all between any of them. I'd probably pick 5:55 cause it might be a little cooler, but probably not by much.

I just saw it is also offering me 6:05 and 8:00 PM...
8PM is too late, I guess... Yeah, animals are usually active either in the morning or in the evening, before dinner time :)
So, maybe 6 PM option is not that bad.

How long is this attraction all together?

Thanks again!

I have heard early morning or dusk are best for animal activity. I will say we went just before sunset last September and saw so many more animals at that time! I would highly recommend evening just before sunset if it's an option.

Attraction time is approximately 20 minutes if everything's going as it should. But there are often issues (usually involving animals in the roadway) that can cause it to go longer.

8:00 PM is actually not a bad time. Sunset should be around 8:15 for this time of the year. I've heard if you ride right at sunset, the mix of the natural and artificial sunsets makes a beautiful ride experience.

No, not really. You will see animals all throughout the day...morning, noon and evening. Even in summer in mid-afternoon, you will see them. It's all random luck. There is no "best" time to go on the Safari. Pick whatever you want, sit back and enjoy.
