Maybe I missed something, but is there a reason that there are no fast passes for the Safari ride the few days before Thanksgiving?

very busy time and it is a popular ride, so my guess is that they are taken. Keep checking- people change their plans all the time so you might be able to snag the FP. In the mean time book whatever else you can/want and you can always modify to hopefully find the safari FP

Most likely they were taken by people who could do FPs before you could. Keep checking, some may open up.

Other than that being a very busy time, I don't think you are missing something.

The fact that KS is one of the attractions they have tweaked the schedule to run shorter hours (eg, 6:30pm closing Tgiving week, 9:00pm park closing) doesn't help either, I'm afraid.

If you don't get a fast pass for the Safaris, it's super easy to walk on right at park opening. Everybody and their mother will be going to Pandora, so the rest of the park is pretty relaxing for that first hour or so.

Simple answer it's a super busy time of year. Busy Busy Busy, I would avoid any time +/- 7 days from Thanksgiving or Xmas - New Years. If that's not possible like someone else said simply rope drop that ride everyone is going to Pandora the Safari ride is a walk on for at least 30 mins.
