March 28. Is a before noon ride better than 3pm?I'm wondering if it will be hot enough in the afternoon that the animals won't be out.
I've gone on the Safari at all times during the day although never first thing because we don't get up that early. We've also gone on it in all kinds of weather. The only times we've been "disappointed" was when the guide wasn't very enthusiastic and just repeated some lines about the animals.

We went last week about 9:30. Walked right on and the animals were all "up and at em". I'd suggest going early for that reason.
The thing about WDW is that it's not always considered that 9:30 is exactly "early."
Many on this board are at AM EMH rope drop and waiting by 7:30AM, can be admitted by about 7:45 and then are boarding Safari at about 8:00AM.![]()
Haaaa, yes you are quite rightI guess I should've said I lucked out by getting to the safari at 9:30 as a walk on.
